Salomon's Exit III Mid day hiking boots are lightweight, stylish and well-suited for moderate terrain.

Wrapped in Salomon's ClimaDry breathable, waterproof material, they come complete with a rubber outsole and rand, which helps keep the water out when slogging through puddles.

The aggressive chevron lug pattern is deep and well-defined.

The Exit III Mid's cantilevered sole helps keep you moving onward and upward, like a well-designed hiking boot should.

Salomon's Contagrip rubber soles seem to provide ample traction when it's dry, but lose some grip in wet conditions. We'll see how it performs in the wet during our upcoming field tests.

We're breaking in these boots in the urban wilderness and we'll hit the trails running once they're ready to ride.
